Bus Bar Heat Detection Monitoring
For facilities with installed bus bar technology
Distributed Temperature System (DTS) provides early heat detection
Bus bars are very popular due to their ability to carry electrical current through power distribution systems such as data centers, manufacturing facilities, power plants, and even large ships.
Bus bars are typically assembled in pieces and over time their joints can develop gaps for any number of reasons (bolts become loose, welds fail or clamps loosen) which can cause a burnout or even fire. Overhead bus ducts are often overlooked or neglected when performing electrical maintenance. Location and accessibility can make efficient bus duct maintenance a rather difficult task.
By utilizing DTS technology, the entire length of a bus duct can be continuously monitored, which is particularly important for preventing overheating of the joints between the bus ducts. DTS software is utilized for visualization and management of the bus ducts.
We invite you to join us on March 10, 2021 at 12:00 pm ET for a one-hour presentation on the features, functions, and benefits of Adtell Integration’s Distributed Temperature System (DTS) Solutions. We will provide an overview of how the system works and field questions at the end of the presentation.
There are limited seats available so please register early!
